We frequently receive very positive feedback on the speed and quality of
our Custom Antibody Services such as the following:
“ I've been trying to get the word out about your company within
[our institution]. They still cannot believe that we get the Abs so
quickly and at such a high titer.”

| Protein Polyclonal Antibody in 4 Weeks |
With Washington Biotechnology's ultra-fast 4-week proprietary protocol, your first lot of high titer antibody can be delivered to your lab just five weeks after immunization of two NZW Specific Pathogen-free (SPF) rabbits. We require 2-3 mg antigen for immunization and ELISA.
You receive:
120-140 ml antisera
60 - 70 ml shipped Week 5
60 - 70 ml shipped Week 7
1-2 ml preimmune serum from each animal
Antibody titers by ELISA on all collected sera
Optional Affinity Purification - You may chooses Affinity Purification as an option. We will send you a 6 - 10 ml sample of the First Production Bleed. If after your testing you decide to proceed, the additional charge is $ 300.00 for affinity purification of 120 - 140 ml of antisera.
In addition to our standardized immunization protocol which follows, customized protocols can also be developed, tailored to your research needs.
Rabbit Protocol
Our proprietary "WBI Immunization Protocol" for production of IgG antibody from rabbits takes 4 weeks.
This service includes:
- Animal Boarding and Care: 6 weeks
- Prebleed Serum: 2 ml
- 3 injections of protein/adjuvant emulsion
- Production Bleed at Week 4: 30 - 35 ml serum
Extended Antibody Production
Continued production of polyclonal antibody beyond the period of the WBI Immunization Protocol is an option available at our customer's choice. At the end of each immunization program, we hold the immunized animals for an additional 2 week period. During that period, you can notify us to continue production of antibody.
Prices for this extended production of antibody are as follow:
Rabbit Extended Antibody Production:
Includes: Collection of 60-70 ml antisera per rabbit per month, booster injections, antibody titers by ELISA and monthly maintenance.
