In Vivo Inflammation Models
- Carrageenan Paw Edema (CPE) - rapid one-day initial screen for anti-inflammatory activity
- Adjuvant-Induced Arthritis (AIA) - 1-month detailed study of anti-inflammatory activity
- Collagen-Induced Arthritis (CIA) * - 6-week detailed study using an autoimmune mechanism to mimic human arthritis
- Mouse Ear Edema – Topical - an excellent measure of topical anti-inflammatory activity
- Mouse LPS Model - cytokine analysis of LPS-stimulated inflammation
- Whole Blood Assay (WBA) - In Vitro assay measuring cytokine production/inhibition within inflamed whole human blood – modeling the environment for actual drug activity
- Air Pouch Model (APM) - cell response analysis in rat or mouse
You can choose from additional WBI services to extend analysis of inflammatory effects as may be beneficial for your requirements: Blood samples, clinical chemistries, cell counts and differentials, necropsy, organ removals and preservation, histologies.
