Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease that currently has no cure. Investigative therapies are aimed at relief of symptoms. In this effort, mouse models are valuable in determining therapeutic effectiveness.
Significant complications of SLE are increased vascular damage and atherosclerosis and a higher risk of cardiovascular disease compared to healthy individuals or even patients with other inflammatory conditions.
WBI offers an SLE Mouse Model for therapeutic efficacy testing.
